About the House of Prayer

“My House will be called a house of prayer for all nations”  Isaiah 56:7

The House of Prayer was incorporated in Garden City, Kansas as a church in June 2010, by Ralf Meister. After marriage in 2011 his wife Starla joined.
During fall 2013 Ralf and Starla moved to Sabetha, KS. Laurie Tyler joined the board of elders to continue the work in Garden City.

The idea was taken from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (ihopkc.org).   The inspiration came throughout the awakening at IHOP-KC which began on November 11 2009, when the Holy Spirit broke into the IHOP school with love encounters, manifestations and many, many healings of all kind.

Through worship we connect with the heart of God.

Through prayer we partner with God in HIS work on earth, because this is HIS desire.

We usually meet Friday nights starting at 6pm to join with the IHOP service via webstream,
also on Saturday beginning at 10am throughout the day to celebrate the Sabbath – Yahweh’s weekly appointment with us.

But prayer is not limited to schedules. If you need prayer, help through hard times, guidance and fellowship, call, text or email us.
